Free visual inspection and a written scope of work before any mitigation begins - photos, moisture readings, and drying logs go in your claim file
The scope we write is the scope we bill. Anything new gets shown to you, in writing, before we touch it.
Meet the Miami Team Behind DryMark Restoration Miami
We’re the crew that shows up when water’s still moving through your drywall or mold’s turned a closet into a health hazard. Every technician here works under The Haven Standard, which means a written price before we start, a photo record before we leave, and the 365-Day Done Right Promise on every job. What unites us isn’t a handbook. It’s that we’ve all seen what happens when restoration gets rushed or documented poorly, and none of us will do that to a homeowner.
Our People
Alicia Brennan, Owner
I started DryMark Restoration Miami in 2011 after eight years as a claims adjuster, watching homeowners lose tens of thousands on denied claims because the restoration company didn’t photograph the loss properly or produce a drying log that matched the invoice. I built this company around that gap. Every job we run now includes photo documentation on every visit, daily moisture readings logged to IICRC standards, and a written scope signed before anyone touches a wall. I still review the documentation on large losses personally, and I take the calls when an adjuster needs the psychrometric data explained in plain language. Outside of work, I keep a small boat in Coconut Grove and have strong opinions about the proper way to run a dehumidifier in a marine environment.
Marcus T., Lead Water Damage Technician
Marcus has been running mitigation crews in Miami-Dade and Broward for fourteen years, and he’s certified in Applied Structural Drying through the IICRC with additional training on Injectidry cavity drying systems. He specializes in high-rise water losses, where a supply-line break on the 22nd floor can affect six units vertically, and he’s developed a protocol for documenting inter-unit migration that adjusters specifically request by name. Marcus carries a thermal imaging camera on every job and won’t write a drying plan without it, having seen too many pockets of saturation missed by touch-and-guess methods. He grew up in Little Havana, speaks Spanish with homeowners who prefer it, and maintains a running spreadsheet comparing actual drying times to psychrometric predictions, which he’s never shown anyone but quotes constantly.
Daniela R., Senior Mold Remediation Technician
Daniela holds RIA-certified mold remediation credentials and has completed specialized training in Florida’s unique humidity challenges, where outdoor vapor pressure differentials can reverse airflow in a contained work zone if you don’t account for them. She handles our most complex microbial projects, including tertiary drying scenarios where previous contractors failed to identify the original moisture source. Daniela is the technician who will tell you exactly how many square feet of drywall need removal, show you the moisture meter readings that support it, and then show you again after the work is done. She keeps a collection of failed containment photos from other jobs she’s been called to fix, which she uses for training, not mockery. Her first language is Portuguese, and she handles most of our calls in the Brazilian homeowner community.
James K., Service Coordinator
James answers the phones and dispatches crews, which means he’s the voice that picks up at 2 a.m. when a pipe bursts in a Coral Gables kitchen and the homeowner doesn’t know if this counts as an emergency. He’s been with us since 2019 and has developed what he calls “loss triage,” a ten-question sequence that lets him determine whether you need a crew in thirty minutes or can safely wait until morning with our guidance on source control. James maintains the schedule, confirms that every technician has the right equipment loadout for each job, and personally delivers the written scope to homeowners for signature before work begins, Haven Standard, Clause 1. He was born in Homestead, worked his way through FIU, and has a side business restoring vintage motorcycles that he mentions only when someone asks why he knows so much about fuel oil contamination.
Elena V., Restoration Apprentice
Elena joined us in 2023 after completing a construction technology program at Miami Dade College, and she’s working through her IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician certification while rotating through every phase of our operation. Right now she shadows Marcus on mitigation jobs, assists Daniela on containment builds, and handles the moisture logging and photo documentation that gets uploaded to each homeowner’s file after every visit. Elena asks more questions than any apprentice we’ve had, which is the reason we hired her. She lives in Allapattah, takes the bus to jobs when she can, and has already identified two equipment maintenance issues that saved us from failed drying cycles on commercial losses.
One Standard, Every Job

DryMark Restoration Miami operates independently under The Haven Standard, the same framework that governs every crew in our network across ten home-service brands. That means Haven Standard, Clause 1, applies here exactly as it does everywhere else: a written price before any work starts, with no scope additions once our crew is inside your home. It means the 365-Day Done Right Promise is a signed guarantee, not a verbal reassurance. It means every visit produces a documented photo record, every drying job produces daily moisture logs formatted to IICRC, RIA, and IFA standards, and every homeowner receives a complete file that an adjuster can review without calling us for clarification. We don’t vary the standard based on job size, neighborhood, or insurance carrier. The equipment in our trucks comes from Dri-Eaz, Phoenix, XPOWER, B-Air, and Injectidry because those manufacturers produce the documentation interfaces that feed directly into payable claims. Our technicians are background-checked, uniformed, and named on every scope they sign. If you bring us a competitor’s written estimate, we’ll review it at no charge and tell you exactly where the scope differs from what we’d propose. That’s the standard. It’s not marketing. It’s how we document every job, every time.
